One Cake At a Time 29-3-17

By | 30th March 2017

On the Wednesday of this week the RSPB  at their Sandy headquarters took part in  Bake for nature.Hopefully they and many other people all across the UK who are baking hope to raise money to protect the nature we love.
At the RSPB, we’re passionate about nature and wild places, we’re hard at work saving species  from extinction, as  well as educating our children about the wonders of wildlife.
I was asked if I can contribute to this Event, by offering my photographic services to them I was very happy to do so, as well as giving some of my images that I took. Staff member’s that took part made a variety of cakes in all shapes and sizes, it was left to our very own Paul Hollywood, Bryan Bland to judge the proceeding’s and he had a difficult task ahead of him, as every one of the cakes was made first class.
After the judging was done it was the taste test  with their amazing bakes.By devouring and donating we raised a very tasty £115.58 to help us give nature a home. They has to be a winner and this time it went to Emma Lacy with runners up Robert Lingard and Nicky Thomas.
