Sealed On New Year’s Day

By | 3rd January 2018

This is my first post of 2018,I like to wish all of you a Happy New Year.
I spent a few days in my favourite county, Norfolk for the New Year, as it is custom that I and my good friend like to spend a few days relaxing and enjoying each others company.
A couple of hours visiting a place to view the Seals on the beach at Horsey, which is located about 8 miles north of Great Yarmouth.  Hundred’s of visitors old and the young flock to Horsey to  witness this spectacular view, nothing quite prepares you for the sight that you’re faced with once  over the dunes and onto the viewing platform which has been especially set up for the seal pup viewing during the winter months of late October through to February. With the weather forecast  being the best it has been for a few days, it was a early start ,after a good hearty breakfast, be rude not to have one. We arrived about 0945, by then the car park was getting full as many people that visited the site were raring to go and take a good walk along the top of the dunes to clear the cobwebs from the night before.
