Day 2 of my weekend trip to East Yorkshire, this time it is in the small town of Hedon, which happens to be our base for the weekend, staying with our friend Julia.
Hedon is a small town and civil parish in Holderness in the East Riding of Yorkshire, approximately 5 miles west of the City of Hull.
For a small town it has a lot to offer with its traditional shops and public houses, you are greeted with a welcome as well as a smile, nothing is to much trouble with the locals.
I decided to take a few images of the local shop fronts, all nicely decorated for the festive season, most of which was decorated with Christmas tress at the top of their properties, just like the old days, nice to see that traditions still happen.
I also decided to be a bit creative in my approach to the final image, some you might like, some you might not, at the end of the day, I for one enjoyed producing them.
I enjoyed my walk around the town, will hopefully come back shortly and take some more images of the area, this has plenty to offer for those who like traditional looking shops and public houses.
