Its that time of the year again when the festive season gets well and truly under away, so it is the annual visit to the Olde Water Mill at Barton Le Clay, just off the A-6 towards Luton.
This particular place is a gem for those who like to have a Leisurely look round, it offers independent small shops selling a good range of product’s all year round as well as a nice coffee shop at reasonable prices, a few of the shops are also named after characters by Charles Dickens.
Its that time of the year when it attracts visitors in there hundreds, as everything is geared up for the festive season, they also have a Santa’s Grotto which you have to book in advance, this sells out most weekends leading up to Christmas.

We arrived at 11-00 am, and by then the car park was full so we had to use the overflow car park, which was controlled by parking wardens, which happened to be most helpful with directions.
We had a good look around for about 90 mins and we both got into the Christmas spirit before we headed of to nearby Hitchin.
I for one always look forward to visiting this place every year, it is so nice here and you know once you have visited this time of the year, you know Christmas is just around the corner.
