Studio Evening.

Its been to long since my last blog, busy with work and home life, so things had to be put on the back boiler for a while.

I have recently got back to joining a local camera club, as I have been off the camera club scene for 3 years, nice to have a break from attending meetings and entering monthly club competition’s.
The club I have joined is Biggleswade And District Camera club, a 10 minute walk from my house. The welcome I received was great and with 60 or so members all with various skills and knowledge  they are a great bunch and helpful in passing on there expertise for those who need a bit of guidance.

On with the subject in matter, the club recently had a studio evening with two great models, Elle and Nick, both of which were excellent in there skills at posing and stance. Two setups were arranged by the expert setup members of the club with plain backdrops, white and black meant the two models can swap around during the evening. Elle started off in her wedding dress and Nick started with is  leather look, with all the tattoos he had and his aggressive look, it wasn’t long before I got some good images of them both. We all took it in turn to take some images before both models had a change of outfits.

As the evening went on it wasn’t long before we all had ideas in what we wanted, both models were confitable  in what we were trying to achieve. I enjoyed my evening at the club studio night picked up some tips which will come in handy next time. The models were professional and helpful in what we were trying to achieve and most of all it was a great opportunity to do this type of work again.

That levees us with packing up to do which is part of the deal, a few of us stayed behind to help with the dismantling of the equipment and putting it in the right boxes for the next time and reflect in what we all came away with, pictures.
