Whilst on a recent holiday in Norfolk I decided to go for a day to Lowestoft to have a look around somewhere different.
Lowestoft is an English North Sea coast town and civil parish in the county of Suffolk. It is famous for being the most easterly town and the first to see sunrise in the UK ,its also the birthplace of composer Benjamin Britten.
Once we arrived and parked the car up it was a meander around the main high street to take a look what was on offer, I must say that it had a mixture of shops from hardware’s to giftshops all within walking distance from the carpark. Once we had a look around it was time for a coffee and a sit down as this was quite a hot day. The locals were kind and helpful and I must say it was not crowded and everybody was social distancing, it could be the fact it was a mid week visit, or it was to hot for many.
Coffee finished, it was time to have a look around the harbor area of the town, plenty of private vessels in dock and going about their business, as of the fishing boats I think you have to be there at the early hours of the morning to catch any activity, decided to give that idea a miss.
Armed with my pocket size Canon G-7x and went about my business and capturing some images of my visit and turned a few into monochrome, for me it fits the medium. Had a good 3 hours in Lowestoft, I feel that’s enough to capture some images, will I go back Possible who knows.
