As a Bedfordshire based photographer,I started my road to photography in the early 1980s,
I started getting an interest in Aviation by going along to a number of key airshows and airfields around the UK , as well as abroad to master my craft. As time went on I started to get well known on the circuit. With my reputation I was becoming known by aviation journals and by organisations in the aviation world for my images for their calendars, airshow programmes.
In the late 1990s I went to Bedford College to study photography to gain my City and Guilds with distinction which led me to branch out into other fields of photography work.
I joined the local Photographic group, to learn and gain more experience, which gave me a good reputation as one of the leading up and coming photographers. I gained an award in my first season and since then I have gained many awards for my photography at club level. I have had my work accepted in National and International exhibitions around the globe and most recently I gained an award in Sidney, Australia for one of my Red Arrows images.
I also give lectures in photography with two talks, one called Aviation Photography and the other called A Passion for Pictures.
